We want to build the best team for the mission effort so we take applications and require application fees. Why fees? People who invest are serious about investing. This application must be submitted and the application fee received by the application deadline.

All applications are reviewed with the goal of assembling a team most capable:
• to establish and know the trip purpose,
• to achieve the trip purpose,
• to bring back better missionaries, and,
• to leave a blessing with those we serve.

If you are not selected, fees will be refunded to you less the 3% processing charge.

Unless we say different, the standard age for a missionary is 15+ and anyone under 18 must travel with a parent.

If you want to request an exception, write it in below and make sure that your parent fills out the last part of this form.

All of us commit to follow the leaders, follow the rules, follow the culture guidelines, not be a bad influence, not create drama, not mess up the mission effort, etc.

If anyone creates drama (or any other problem) that affects the mission effort, he/she doesn't go or gets sent home (and he/she pays for it to boot!).

We all raise money as a team but if we can't raise enough as a team and you haven't done your share by the time we have to pay the bills (total expense/number of people) then you don't go.

Matching funds or other promised gifts have to be received before they are counted.

We (all of us and anyone we work with to complete the mission work) are not responsible for cancellations and any losses (real ones or ones someone thinks are real) due to circumstances beyond our immediate control.

If an effort must be cancelled, all donations to the effort will be used for missions or applied to a rescheduling of this mission effort in the name of the donee.

As the legal guardian of the applicant (hereafter, “my Charge”), I understand that my Charge must complete the mission process as an individual team member and that I can not complete training, tasks or other steps on my Charge’s behalf and, for the preparation and duration of this event, I defer leadership to the Team Leaders, and will not
interfere in the process of the Event.

Likewise, if my Charge, is traveling without me, I hereby grant authority to the Sponsors of this Event to seek appropriate medical, legal and other care on my Charge’s behalf and agree to hold harmless and indemnify Sponsors for any accident, injury or other consequences that might befall my Charge. I understand that Mission Efforts, by the nature of the work, can be physically challenging, dangerous and have an inherent risk due to the people, nations and cultures being reached.

I approve of my Charge’s involvement and,
further, understand and take responsibility to fulfill any penalties, fees, expenses or other consequences that result from my Charge’s involvement in this effort and agreement.
